The rescape urban bank is designed as a series of modular frames that can be assembled to construct units of different configurations. These are based upon module widths of 1200mm. The major components of the unit are sourced and manufactured in the UK from aluminium and steel.
As part of the design process, a full Health and Safety risk assessment has been undertaken which is available on request. Most RAL colours are available. All galvanised steel parts are to BS EN 10143:1993

2 Bay Example
Width (canopy) 3.0m
Depth (canopy) 3.0m
Height (front canopy) 2.6m

Add 1.2m width for each additional bay.

The design allows for 1 x 1280 litre Taylor Continental container per module.

Structure: Hot dipped galvanised mild steel 3.0mm box section frame.
Cladding: Polyester powder coated to 1.2mm galvanised steel. All powder coating is to BS729. Canopy Roof: 4.0mm Alucabond.
Lockable Doors: Aluminium frame with stainless steel fascia Grade 316. Two way lock rod.

The rescape
urban bank should be installed onto a reinforced concrete base, to the size of the overall width and depth of the shelter and to a minimum thickness of 150mm. It is important for installation, operation and Health and Safety considerations for emptying the containers, that the base is level. Each module must be secured with chemical anchors.

As an option, both internal and external luminaries are available. These are IP65 rated and fitted directly to the canopy roof frame.

The components in the rescape urban bank carry a one-year warranty with normal use, excluding lamps.

To obtain the best performance from the unit it should be maintained on a regular basis. A maintenance package is available upon request. |
